Call for Abstracts

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Submission Deadline: 31^st October 2023.

We welcome original contributions related to the session topics. Please follow the instructions below in preparing your abstract for the online submission system. Abstracts must be submitted in English. The submission should indicate whether the results are already generated or will be forthcoming from current experimentation. If results have already been published, the corresponding reference should be added. The scientific committee will promote some of the best abstracts to session keynotes.

Your abstract should meet the following parameters:

Abstract Title (max. 120 characters, excluding spaces);
Abstract Text (max. 1700 characters, excluding spaces).

Abstract Text must be organized as follows:

Background / Knowledge gap; Objective / Research question / Hypothesis; Material and Methods; Results; Discussion;
Content Snapshot (max. 250 characters, excluding spaces).

During abstract submission, you will be asked for

your personal and contact details and contact data (same for your co-authors);
your presentation priority (oral or poster);
Topics (List three session topics in descending order of priority);
other information: Are you a young scientist (< 6 years after PhD degree) or are you a (PhD) student?

By submitting your abstract(s), you agree that the abstract being submitted, if accepted, will appear in the ISRR 2024 Final Program and will be provided as download (pdf.file) to all delegates at the Congress of the International Society of Root Research 2024. The Congress reserves the right to edit the abstract prior to publication. You also understand that the presenter of the accepted abstract will be expected to register for the Congress at the appropriate rate.
